I read through some reviews and Im happy to see Im not the only experienced Jergens lotion user to notice a change in effectiveness from the old to the new formula. I too have been a loyal Jergens lotion user for over 25 years now and when I bought the new ultra healing formula I noticed a difference. Hands went dry in about 5 minutes. I have to keep re-applying but this was not the case with the old formula. I appended a photo of the old vs the new. I read through the ingredients of the old, also appended and compared to the new. I have now started searching for a lotion that works as Jergens used to. To Jergens competitors... Copy the old formula and create your own "new" brand. Advertise it and watch how many consumers start using your product if Jergens wont go back to the old. I presume the idea of "more applications" is best for sales but not if consumers search elsewhere. P.S - I dont put much emphasis on reviews from consumers who never knew the old formula. Here are the ingredients of the advertised new Ultra Healing vs Jergens old Ultra Care formulas. Ultra Healing : New INGREDIENTS: WATER, GLYCERIN, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, PETROLATUM, STEARIC ACID, C12-15 ALKYL BENZOATE, ALUMINUM STARCH OCTENYLSUCCINATE, DIMETHICONE, LAURETH-3, CETEARETH-20, DMDM HYDANTOIN, ALLANTOIN, METHYLPARABEN, ARGININE, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, PROPYLPARABEN, CARBOMER, FRAGRANCE, PANTHENOL, PENTYLENE GLYCOL, LECITHIN, ALCOHOL, ASCORBYL PALMITATE, TOCOPHEROL. I have been a loyal Jergens Ultra Healing lotion user for years and I would not use any other lotion. I used it all over my body daily as I dont like dry skin. I thought I would at least give the new formula a chance and it just isnt the same. With the new formula the lotion does not work as well as the old formula. I dont like how it feels on my skin and my skin is dryer now. I am very disappointed that they changed the formula as I am going to have to find another lotion to use. I dont know why companies have a good thing and then change it and its not as good. Just like Coke changing to Coke Classic hopefully you will do the same and change back to the old formula. Very disappointed!! I recommended this lotion in the old formula but I wont with the new formula. See more

If I could find the old formula anywhere, I would buy every last bottle!! The new formula is the opposite of everything I loved. The smell has changed, the moisturizing effectiveness has changed, and most of all the feel has changed! If you are reading this Jergens, PLEASE go back to the original ultra healing formula. It was the best lotion I had ever used, I used it several times a day and I cant find anything on the market that compares!!

I have a condition where I have extremely dry itchy feet. The itch is extreme and causes many sleepless nights and embarrassing episodes where I have to remove my shoes no matter where I am. The old formula was the ONLY lotion that helped. I took it everywhere and I used it multiple times a day. This was the only lotion I used. I bought the new formula thinking that it was just a bottle re-design and had problems IMMEDIATELY. Please, Please, Please bring back the old formula. Whatever was changed was NOT an improvement! I was using Jergens Ultra Healing for years ....it helps me healing my deep dry skin. I was so happy with the product. But, now, when I bought the new product Ultra Healing of Jergens, I am so dissapointed ! ...It totally different from the previous product .... It didnt heal my deep dry skin. Nothing changed ! and I really really need the old Product to heal my deep dry skin. Please please release the Product with the same formula as the previous one. Dont dissapointed us .... We love and need the product ? ....
