(2 Pack) Dove Sensitive Skin Body Wash Pump, 34 oz

Ive heard that rubbing a bar of soap on your legs when they cramp will alleviate the cramps. So I grabbed a bar of Dove to try that theory out. It did not help, but I figured that was a long shot. I put up the soap and when I went to wash my hands I rubbed my face and caught a wife of my hand - AWFUL!!! The smell that the Dove bar left behind on my hand was that of dried vomit! It made me gag to the point where I thought I might actually puke. Even after I washed my hands with fragrant hand soap, the nasty Dove smell remained. So I Googled if it was actually soap, because I figured a real cleaning agent shouldnt smell like that, eapecially one you use on your body. From my brief Googling, it seems that the Dove Beauty Bar is not really soap at all. In fact, your website even says its not soap. So since its not a soap, what is it REALLY doing to my body when I rub it all over my skin? Or am I wrong? Is it a soap? 10/10 would NEVER buy again. See more

This soap is only for someone who does not tolerate a smell. But for someone who has sensitive skin, this is not the soap for you. I am very upset for having been led by this company. It left my face super dry after 3 times use and it will take a long time to heal. I used this soap many yeas ago, and it had a very light soft smell and it was called "sensitive". This soap is NOT for sensitive skin. In order not to have a smell, another chemical to hide the smell needs to be added.

Im so disappointed that you no longer make a fragrance free version of this body wash. I have extremely bad allergies and can not tolerate anything with fragrance. I have been using Dove products for years and am sadden that I can no longer purchase your products. Please bring back fragrance free body wash and deodorant!

Based on the numerous reviews Ive read: It sounds like Dove tampered with a formulation which,for the longest time, did not need any tampering. I recently bought 2 bottles of the subject product. At the time of my purchase, I had quickly pulled the product off the shelf -- assuming it was the same product I had used for many years. Like many other commenters, it was only after I got home that I noticed fragrance/parfum in the ingredients. That will be my last purchase of this product. P.S. On my previous purchases of this product, I think I remember seeing "unscented" on the label. Now, "unscented" is nowhere to be found. Ive noticed through the years that some manufacturers are hoping that customers wont notice when certain changes are made. About 10 years ago I switched to Dove sensitive skin because I was so itchy I swore I had scabies, but it turned out I was allergic to the soap I had grown up using. This was a shock to me because I had no other allergies, not even to pets or anything in nature. A few months ago I started itching again so badly that I went to the dermatologist. She couldnt find anything wrong with me so she suggested I change my laundry detergent and other things. Nothing worked. I finally realized that the itching is so much worse after bathing. When I started reading these reviews I knew I had found the answer. PLEASE, PLEASE go back to your previous formula. I have about 15 boxes of your soap that I cannot use and I do not know what I am going to be able to clean myself with. I am clawing myself so much I have scratch marks all over my body. Ive been so desperate for relief I walk around with a hairbrush with hard bristles to scratch myself with. See more
