Gardenia is one of my favorite scents. I have 3 other gardenia perfumes so I know what Gardenia is supposed to smell like but I wanted a body mist that I could get a matching lotion so I decided to try this brand because the reviews were so good. Unfortunately this does not really smell like gardenia. The top most scent is the sharp smell of alcohol with a bit of floral secondary notes. Also the lotion I bought to go with it is sticky. When I use bath and body brand, my legs are soft and slide smoothly together. When I used the Bodycology, they stuck together. It was very annoying after I got in bed because every time I switched position I could feel the sticky and it doesnt really smell like Gardenia either but it does have less alcohol smell to it. I would not buy this brand again in any of the scents offered. Id rather pay more and get something that doesnt smell so strongly of alcohol. If you want an inexpensive gardenia perfume, try Jovan Island Gardenia. It smells mostly like Gardenia with a bit of summery kinds of notes as secondary. See more
