I love this foundation, especially in the summer time. I have combo to oily skin and almost every foundations starts to break on me within 2 hours BUT this loreal one. Its very lightweight and it holds on your skin right. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I was staying at my mother in laws house for the weekend and when I woke up one morning to get ready for the day I realized I forgot my foundation!! I let her know what was going on and asked if she had anything I could use, mind you she very rarely applies makeup. So she went looking and said that she found this stuff (Infallible PRO MATTE) i had see this product before but never had any interest in using it....boy was I missing out all this time! I applied it and it went on so smooth! I have acne as well as well as scars and this has been the first foundation Ive used that covers the scars and does NOT make my current acne look more pronounced! A good foundation for any age! It is Matte so it doesnt look fake. People dont even think I am wearing foundation. This has great coverage. I do have small red broken vessels and tiny acne scars. It covers them all well and has a smooth silky (not shinny) look. It definatley takes 10 years off my face. At 62 people say I look in my 40s! I hope they never stop making this product!
I ALWAYS go back to this foundation. Literally the best formula out there. Beats any high end foundation. Butttt I wish there were more shades. More for the skin tones that are not really light but almost medium and more on the yellow side instead of pink for the light shades. There are no yellow undertone shades for the light to mediums peeps. Other than that this is my holy grail.
I heard the buzz that this was an excellent foundation for oily skin and even a dupe for Estee Lauder double wear. I am a big loreal fan. I love their infallible lipsticks and cannot be without my lash paradise mascara. However, Ive got no love for this foundation. It creased in the folds of my nose and broke down throughout the course of a regular day. I looked a hot mess wearing this and I have good skin aside from being oily. Loreal, please take note from a big fan. Us oily skin girls need some love too.
