Its about time Maybelline made a loose powder for dark skin. I purchased the shade in 40-Dark as soon as it was stocked at my favorite retailer. It came safety sealed. :) I was so pleased with the product. I have dark skin that is very ruddy (red) and most drugstore products are too yellow for me. This powder is perfect for my complexion and its not too yellow for me and its a matte finish. The powder is really finely milled/ jet milled. The powder did not change the color of my foundation and it does settle in without looking powdery or ashy. A little goes a long way. Maybelline has come a long way in what they offer to women like me. I love the packaging. Its easy to open and the cap screws to a tight close. I dont have to worry about spilling product or making a mess. I would suggest that there should be a shade of powder added for Ebony skin. There could be a #45 and a #50 for super dark skin. im extremely happy with this purchase i have been looking for a good powder for a long time and this stuff lasts so long and goes on great.. its container is not too big not too small and sturdy maybelline did really well with this and yes i recommend this product to anyone!!!

Bought the dark powder about three months ago. It does everything it claims, saturated yet invisible color and no shine. I absolutely love it!!!

I needed something easier on the wallet but good for pictures as I model locally in my area. Holy smokes lol! I use a brush with it and blend it. Its airbrush in a container! Takes years off me and hides my pores. makes my makeup look very high end and professional. I do have to use a setting spray but I do with all powders but with this one my makeup is totally locked in. Please dont ever discontinue or change the formula to where it could flash back. This stuff is amazing.

When I first bought it, I would use it all over my face as an all-over powder, and I absolutely hated it. HOWEVER, when I use a damp beauty sponge to bake the areas of my face I used concealer, it is AMAZING. Flawless natural/matte (satin) finish on me, its awesome. Its my new secret weapon for a flawless face! The only complaint I have is that the loose powder can get messy, but that is to be expected with a finishing powder.
