This was the first Essie color I ever got, and was hooked. I was skeptical because I had read many reviews about the color streaking. While I did experience streaking, knowing before hand, I thought Id try the color corrector underneath my base. It came out streak free, even color, and flawless smooth shine and finish even before top coat. Its a beautiful feminine pink that is perfect for all occasions and every day wear. Definitely favorite worthy. I used 3 coats of color corrector under 1 coat of base though, but it worked out perfectly. Then 2 coats of ballet slippers color, and 2 coats of top coat. Any less color corrector or ballet slippers color than that, and ballet slippers does streak with the slightest bit too much or too little polish on brush. I tested 1 2 and 3 coats and combinations with each and for me thats what worked best. Not the easiest to apply and does require proper preparation but with just a little extra layering, its worth it for such a pretty shade. See more
