I have gestational diabetes and recd this meter from my insurance company. I also recd a different meter from the hospital to use until the Contour arrived in the mail. I couldnt believe the difference in readings from one meter to the other - up to 30 mg higher on the Contour in some cases, and the one I got from the hospital was calibrated and tested to make sure it was accurate. This morning I tested 3 times with only the Contour and recd 3 very different readings: 110, 121 and 83. I understand there will be some variations, but almost a 40 mg difference in 5 seconds is ridiculous. See more

Although this product says it is sold and shipped be Walmart, it is actually from Diabetes Health Supplies, a third party seller. Not only did my package arrive opened, it is clearly a clearance item with a price sticker on it lasting it as a $5 item but Walmart sure sold it to me for $13! You cant return the item by mail so have fun taking it back to Diabetes Health Supplies wherever the heck *they* are. They say to start a return with Walmart but you cant because it didnt come *from* Walmart!

This is a very good product its faster thin the other tester I had. Your test strips dont expire making it cheaper to use.For the price this is the best tester.

Test the contour next against 4. different monitors the contour is very inaccurate between 20 and 30 present higher than the others. Very inaccurate.
