I have been using Shaklee probiotic for a number of years. Shaklee products are expensive so I wanted to see what else was available to see if I could save money. I guess I have to say that for me, you get what you pay for. I see in the reviews that quite a few people liked this product, more power to them. What I found is that Shaklee who advertises that their product makes it to the large intestines before releasing the bugs must be true. This Probiotic 10 seemed to remain in my stomach and small intestinal area, I had a LOT of bug by-product, meaning it felt like my stomach and small intestines were bloated giving a lot of pain and discomfort. I was a little concerned about the product package saying that it had 20,000 organisms at manufacturer date.....I was thinking maybe they will have all died and it would do nothing for me. I was wrong. They were alive and well, just didnt make it to the destination I had in mind for them. I guess I would say for the price, maybe its worth a try, you could have a faster moving metabolism and the bugs could make it to the right spot for you. For me, its back to the pricier option. As others have commented this is one of the best prices, however I just noticed that many of the capsules are not filled as much as they should be for that size. ???? I just hope this is not yet another way to raise the price by shorting the consumer content. I will certainly scrutinize the next bunch and photo this batch as reference.
