I used this product for many years. I found my perfect shade. It covered the grays without lifting the color of my brown hair. It washed off slowly and looked natural for give weeks easily. the new product is a disaster. It added redness to my brown hair and did nothing to the gray. It looks disgusting. I will have to color it again immediately, just dont yet know with what...

I bought Shade: 5A/24, MEDIUM COOL BROWN CLOVE to cover my gray and mute the brassy red tone it had. The coverage is great, but my hair definitely has a red hue to it. I picked a cool color to avoid this, and I have no idea how to fix it. If the gray coverage hadnt been so great I wouldve given it one star, and if my hair hadnt turned red I wouldve given it five.

Was a medium brown, I usually use Tweed or Suede, this time I wanted to go more red. Loved the color on the box - Cinnaberry. Mine turned out darker brown with burgundy red on top, the bottom 4 inches didnt take the color as well as the top 4 inches. My husband likes it but agrees it went darker and has too much brown. Will try a different shade next time. I will see how long the color stays.

I have used Natural Instincts many times. I have naturally strawberry blonde hair, and Ive dyed it many different red colors, from light auburn, medium auburn, dark red, the list goes on. Ive always gotten great results, and the color always looks exactly as it does on the box. Well, I hadnt colored my hair in awhile, and was back to my natural color, and wanted to try a dark, dark brown. This dye ended up looking BLACK, jet black. It definitely wasnt what I was looking for, and the color on my hair looks much darker on than the color on the box. However, I ended up really liking it, so Im keeping the color. Just a warning to anyone with lighter hair, this may turn out much darker than expected. See more

First let me start by saying Im African American with permed hair. My natural hair color is light brown. I use the burgundy blackberry immediately after a perm and the results were amazing. This product wasnt harsh on my hair and left my hair soft and smelling amazing. The initial color was a bright red (more noticeable in sun) which was beyond beautiful then after about a week it turned burgundy. After first wash it then turn to a burned orange which was also amazing. Im more than pleased with this color and plan on sticking to it for a good while. See more
