Colgate Total Whitening Gel Toothpaste, 4.8oz 4-pack

Ive been a Colgate user for years. Ive always use Colgate Total Advanced Whiting Gel. This new formula is not for me! No where on the box does it say New Flavor, only on the tube! (false advertising) and what is this Stannous Flouride? The fine print on the tube says: products containing stannous fluoride may produce surface staining of the teeth! Isnt it the active ingredient in the paste? What does that mean?! Any why didnt you make an advanced white gel toothpaste!? I literally went to 3 stores looking for the old formula. I think you have lost a cusumer with this new formula. If it wasnt broke, why fix it. And consumers should be able to choose to stay with the old formula or go with the new versus the company removing the old formula and stocking the new on the aisle. See more

I have a been a loyal user of this toothpaste for the past 15 years. It was my go to for its great taste and ability to clean well, but I am SO upset with the recent change in the flavor - it is NOT pleasant, and after a an hour or two, it leaves a terrible taste in my mouth. Plus, the box says nothing about a new flavor. You only discover this once you open the box and see the tube. I think its really poor on Colgates part to try to trick customers into purchasing a product without disclosing this change. Whats even more frustrating is that I purchased a two pack of this "new flavor" and now I will have to find a new toothpaste to replace it, because I cannot stand using it for one more day. On top of the flavor issue, it also seems to leave a dry residue feeling in my mouth and makes my tongue burn and feel numb. See more

I have been loyal to the Colgate Total Whitening Gel for years! I drive out of my way to pick up the Colgate Whitening GEL, not paste, to be sure I have my favorite. On my last shopping trip I did not notice the box addition of "SF" or "New Active Ingredient" when I picked up a three pack at the store. That same day I received a call from my daughter, another loyal Colgate Whitening Gel customer, to watch out! She had just opened a tube of Colgate Total Whitening Gel and the New Flavor was terrible. Too late, I had opened my three pack. I tried it, thinking I have had this brand for years and go out of my way to buy the Colgate Whitening Gel. Unfortunately, the flavor is as bad as was described. You feel like you need to brush your teeth after you are done brushing. Even after a rise of mouth wash you cannot seem to loose the bad flavor of the "New Flavor". Very disappointed to have to shop for a new toothpaste. See more

This is the first time I bought this... as my regular flavor... Total+Advanced Whitening+Gel that tastes like blue mint color best toothpaste ever was discontinued apparently and replaced with 3 new flavors all of them tasted like chalk! Or maybe new formula. I cannot believe Worlds number one toothpaste company releases such bad products and sabotage their own success and standing in the market! Abominable! Confidence from the best toothpaste is everything... and your company messed it all up!

I had used the old flavor for years and years 2-4 times a day. I was left no choice but to buy the new flavor since I am a loyal Colgate user and have used it for the last 5 months. I have since had to switch to another brand since the new flavor just cant compare to the old. Sometimes if something isnt broke, dont fix it!
